SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER AND 6:00 AM WORSHIP ON PAUSE THROUGH THE SUMMER.

NOTE:

Two opportunities to pray:

Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!

North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off the break room during the second and third services.  Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.

Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

NORTH ATTLEBORO

Prayer at the Altar – AFTER SERVICES

If possible, please make an effort to be at the altar after this service to pray for others.

Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**

**The Leader prompts help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**

Key Verse: Romans 12

ICE BREAKER

Q.  If you could add one completely useless but hilarious feature to your car, what would it be?

Examples: popcorn dispenser, confetti cannon, karaoke machine, hot dog roller, etc.

Opening Prayer:

Father, thank You for creating each of us with purpose and gifting us uniquely. Help us see that You have called us not just to attend church, but to actively participate in Your mission. Open our hearts to discover, develop, and use the gifts You have given us for Your glory and the good of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You don’t want to just ATTEND church. You want your life to MATTER.

Romans 12:4,6 ESV

3 truths about your gifts:

First truth about your gift:

  1. Your gift reveals your MISSION.

Romans 12:6-8 ESV

1 Peter 4:10 ESV

John 15:16 ESV

Your gift is not meant to impress people; it’s meant to impact people.

Q. What do you think God wants to accomplish through the gifts He has given you, and is there an area where you sense Him calling you to make a greater impact for His kingdom?

Leader Prompt: Help the group see that God gives gifts not only for personal growth but to advance His kingdom and reach others.

Practical Application: Spend time in prayer this week, asking God where He wants you to make a greater impact.

Second truth about your gift:

2. Your gift grows through USE, not AWARENESS.

2 Timothy 1:6 ESV

God rarely reveals everything BEFORE we MOVE. He reveals more AS we MOVE.

1 Timothy 4:14-15 ESV

Q. What is one area where God may be asking you to step out in faith and use a gift you have been hesitant to develop?

Leader Prompt:

Encourage the group to understand that growth comes through obedience and practice, not simply learning about their gifts.

Practical Application

Take one intentional step this week to serve, volunteer, lead, encourage, or help someone in an area where God has gifted you.

Third truth about your gift:

3. Your gift is for OTHERS, not YOU.

1 Corinthians 12:7 NLT

1 Corinthians 12:21 ESV

James 2:17 ESV

When you don’t use your gift, it’s not that SOMETHING doesn’t get DONE; it’s that SOMEONE doesn’t get REACHED.

Q. How does knowing that someone may miss encouragement, help, or ministry if you don’t use your gift change your perspective?

Leader Prompt:

Remind the group that spiritual gifts are designed to build up the body of Christ and help reach people with God’s love.

Practical Application:

Identify one person you can intentionally encourage, serve, pray for, or invest in this week using the gifts God has given you.

Sermon in a sentence:

Every believer has a GIFT, every gift must be ACTIVATED, and every act of service

ADVANCES God’s kingdom.

3 Key Takeaways

1. God has given every believer a unique gift and purpose.

2. Spiritual gifts grow when they are exercised, not merely discovered.

3. Using your gift helps advance God’s kingdom and reach people who need Jesus.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, thank You for giving each of us gifts that matter in Your kingdom. Forgive us for the times we have remained on the sidelines instead of stepping into Your calling. Give us courage to use what You have entrusted to us, wisdom to serve others well, and hearts that desire to make an eternal impact. May our lives bring glory to You and help others know Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
