North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off the break room during the second and third services. Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.
Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

LIFE GROUP LEADER MEETING RE-CAP VIDEO
Thank you to everyone who attended our Life Group Leader Meeting this past Monday. We heard a powerful message from Pastor Tim on Stewardship vs. Ownership.
If you were unable to attend—or if you’d like to watch it again—please take a few moments to view the message using the link below. I strongly encourage you to watch, as it highlights key principles for this ministry.

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**
**The Leader prompts help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**
Key Verse: 1 Timothy 6
Ice Breaker Question:
If you were stranded in a cabin for a week and had 10 minutes to grab supplies from only one grocery store aisle, which aisle would you choose and why?
Opening Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us together. Strengthen our faith as we study Your Word and remind us to stand firm in every season. Help us to trust You, walk closely with You, and encourage one another in our faith. Open our hearts to hear what You want to teach us and give us the courage to live it out daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
1 Timothy 6:12 NKJV
The word “fight” is used twice in this passage, but each use comes from a different Greek word that carries a distinct meaning.
The first use of “fight” describes the action believers are called to take. It includes three ideas:
1. Competing for a prize, like an athlete in a game.
2. Contending against opposition, difficulties, or dangers.
3. Striving with determination to accomplish or obtain something valuable.
In this verse, the first “fight” points to what we are fighting for.
The second use of “fight” (following the word “good”) shifts the focus from the action itself to the setting where the struggle takes place.
The fight of faith is not about who is the strongest or fastest, and we are not to be silent about our faith.
Q. What is one area of your life where you need to stop staying silent and start standing strong in your faith?
Leader Prompt:
Remind the group that the fight of faith is about staying faithful to Jesus and standing firm even when facing pressure, opposition, or fear.
Practical Application:
This week, take one bold step in your faith by encouraging someone, sharing your testimony, praying with someone, or standing firm in a godly conviction.
WHY THIS FIGHT OF FAITH?
1 Peter 5:8-9 NKJV
There is an enemy who wants to rob us of our faith in God and what faith in God can bring into this life and the life to come.
THE IMPORTANCE OF FAITH:
1. Faith is how we please God.
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
Romans 14:23 NKJV
2. Faith is what receives from God.
James 1:5 NKJV
3. Faith is how we walk with God.
2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV
Faith is how we quench every fiery dart of the wicked one. If we lose faith, we get hit by the fiery darts and suffer injuries.
Q. Which area of your life right now requires the greatest faith in trusting, receiving from, or walking with God?
Leader Prompt:
Encourage the group to recognize that faith is essential in every part of the Christian life—it pleases God, helps us receive from Him, and strengthens us to stand against the enemy’s attacks.
Practical Application:
This week, choose one situation where you will intentionally trust God instead of fear, worry, or doubt, and pray in faith over it daily.
4. Faith is how we minister to others.
Galatians 3:5 NKJV
James 5:14-15 NKJV
If we lose faith, then we cannot minister to others.
Q. What keeps us from stepping out in faith to minister to others, and how can we overcome it?
Leader Prompt:
Encourage the group to remember that faith is not meant to stay private—God uses our faith to bring hope, healing, encouragement, and support to others.
Practical Application:
This week, look for one opportunity to step out in faith by encouraging, serving, or praying for someone in need.
5. Faith is how we lay hold of eternal life.
God has given us the free gift of eternal life. We need to have a firm grip on it. If we lose our faith, we lose our grip on God’s free gift of eternal life.
HOW THE ENEMY WORKS TO WEAKEN OR ROB US OF OUR FAITH IN GOD:
Romans 10:17 NKJV
The enemy comes to rob us of the Word of God through any of these ways:
● Distractions.
● Lies and deceptions.
● Difficult circumstances.
- Neutralizing God’s Word.
Q. Which of these attacks—distractions, lies, difficult circumstances, or neutralizing God’s Word—do you think believers struggle with the most today, and why?
Leader Prompt:
Remind the group that the enemy’s goal is to weaken faith by pulling believers away from God’s truth and keeping them spiritually distracted or discouraged.
Practical Application:
This week, ask God to help you recognize and remove one thing that may be weakening your faith so you can stay grounded in His Word.
HOW TO FIGHT THE FIGHT OF FAITH?
● “Fight the good fight of faith…”
● “Take the shield of faith…”
- “Resist him, steadfast in the faith…”
Fight, Take, and Resist are all verbs. These are things we must do as we engage in conflict.
● Feed your faith with the Word.
● Speak your faith in the Word.
- Act your faith in the Word.
2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV
Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank You for reminding us of the importance of faith and the strength we find in Your Word. Help us to stand firm against distractions, lies, and discouragement, and teach us to trust You more each day. Strengthen our hearts to walk by faith, encourage others, and hold tightly to the eternal life You have given us through Jesus. May our faith continue to grow as we follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
