30 Dec STEPS FOR APPRENTICING

STEPS FOR APPRENTICESHIP:

An  Apprentice is someone who agrees that they should lead a Life Group in the future.

1. Review Who is Your Next Apprentice.
2. Approach your potential apprentice and let them know why you think they should become a leader.

3.  If they agree, go over the guide lines by sharing the Life Group Leader Code of Ethics

4. Introduce them to your Coach (make sure to involve your coach, they are part of this process) and your Coach have them added to the Apprentice List.

4. Start the Apprentice Model found on the HUB under Leader Training at (sgl.waterschurch.org).

5. Use the model over at least 6 months (some can be sooner, check with your coach).

6. When you think they are ready to lead, let your coach know and your coach will notify you when the next training is.

7. Once they have done the training, you will be notified.

8. Release them and celebrate!
