Re:Group | Five Questions of Vision Casting -Jeff Henderson

  1. What problem are we trying to solve?

(Is the problem connecting?)

**Survey leaders and find out what problems we need to solve.

Members joining, keeping members, members showing up, moving onto next steps

2. Is Our Answer Compelling?

3. Is the Language Spreading?

Craft language around it.  Language that is portable can be passed forward.

  1. What language are we using to describe our vision.
  2. Is anyone other than the team using it?

Do you hear people saying it? Allow others to carry it forward.  How is the language helping your vision to be compelling?

Example: We are Better Together and Circles are Better Than Rows

4. Is the Message Repeating?

Stay on message.  Leaders are repeaters.  Say it over and over.

Example: Chick Fil A ‘My Pleasure’

5. Is the Ministry Delivering the Promise We are Making?

Do the leaders know our vision?

How do we determine if the ministry is delivering?

Hang out with different groups.  Zoom in or go in person.  Coaches go.  Walkthrough as a team.

Engage people’s hearts first.  The more vision carriers we have the more vision casters we have.
