Tips on Having a Successful Digital Meeting
- Use a microphone or earbuds/headset
- The light should be in front of you not behind you
- Look into the camera directly, position it at eye level (prop up your computer if needed)
- Everyone should be on mute when not speaking (eliminates background noise)
- Don’t walk around with the computer or phone (or be in a moving vehicle while conducting the meeting (makes people dizzy)
- Design your environment to be welcoming

Omni Chanel or Hybrid Groups
In-person and online for group leaders who have members where not all members are comfortable to come back in person yet. These leaders can do one of two things:
- Turn their Small Group into an eFam group (this is temporary, make known)
- Meet with some in-person and some online (two groups essentially then invite all together backyard gathering with social distance guidelines so the online won’t feel totally left out) or meet with the group in person and online simultaneously
