PLEASE CHECK YOUR NOTIFICATIONS AND OR YOUR PLANNING CENTER PROFILES FOR NEW MEMBER REQUESTS.

NOTE:

Two opportunities to pray:

Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!

North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you are available, or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off of the break room area during the second and third services.  Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.

Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

NORTH ATTLEBORO

Prayer at the Altar – AFTER SERVICES

If possible, please make an effort to be at the altar after this service to pray for others.

Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

MIRACLE AFTER MIRACLE – 21 DAYS OF FASTING

____________________________

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**

Icebreaker question:
What is something you’ve waited a long time for—and was it worth the wait?
____________________________
Opening Prayer:
Holy Spirit, we come together. We wait on You. We surrender to You.  Fill us with Your power in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Pentecost: God FILLED ordinary people with His SPIRIT to DECLARE the GOSPEL, resulting in changed HEARTS and a GROWING Church.
BEFORE anything else: I need Holy Spirit POWER.
1. God’s power comes to those who COME TOGETHER.
Acts 2:1 ESV
Pentecost—One of three Pilgrimage Feasts:
Deuteronomy 16:16 ESV
Jesus dies at PASSOVER (Unleavened Bread).
Jesus rises at FIRST FRUITS.
The Spirit is poured out at PENTECOST.
Q. What happens in your faith when you choose to come together with other believers rather than walking alone?
2 Corinthians 3:6 ESV
The purpose of the LAW is to KILL, the purpose of the Spirit is to RESURRECT those who are DEFEATED by the Law.
Q. Where have you experienced the difference between trying to live by the Law and being brought to life by the Spirit?
Practical Application:
Surrender areas where you are striving in your own strength and invite the Holy Spirit to bring life where you feel defeated.
2. God’s power comes to those who WAIT UPON HIM.
Luke 24:49 ESV
Acts 1:4–8 ESV
WAITING on God is not doing NOTHING—it is refusing to MOVE without HIM.
Isaiah 40:31 ESV
Q. How do you recognize when God is asking you to wait rather than act, and where is He inviting you to trust Him through that waiting?
Practical Application:
Intentionally pause and seek God’s direction before moving forward, choosing trust over action.
3. God’s power comes to those who SURRENDER to HIM.
Acts 2:2–4 ESV
John 20:22 ESV; Ephesians 5:18 ESV
Acts 2:11–13 ESV; Acts 2:41 ESV
Q. What fears or concerns make surrendering to the Holy Spirit difficult?
Practical Application:
Choose to surrender control to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to fill every area of your life.
COME together.  WAIT on the LORD. SURRENDER to the Spirit.
Key Takeaways:
What are three key takeaways you received from this message?
Closing Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill us and empower us with Your presence and power as You teach us to come together, to wait on You, and to surrender fully to You, leading us and using our lives to declare the Gospel. Amen.
