Two opportunities to pray:
Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!
North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you are available, or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off of the break room area during the second and third services. Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.
Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

KEY VERSE: John 6
I Am: Finding my Identity in Who He is
Bread of Life
John 6
Ice Breaker:
Q. What’s a food combination you love that most people would think is strange?
Opening Prayer:
Father God, we come before You hungry—not just physically, but spiritually. Open our eyes to see Jesus as the true Bread of Life. Teach us to believe deeply, trust fully, and find our identity completely in Him. Draw us closer to You tonight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
______________________________________________________________
Leader Insight Box:
In John 6, the crowd pursued Jesus for bread instead of recognizing who He is. We can seek blessings and still miss the Savior. Keep the focus on identity, not just behavior. Jesus doesn’t simply improve life—He is life.
Remind your group of both truths:
-We cannot come unless the Father draws (John 6:44 ESV; John 6:65 ESV).
-Whoever comes will never be cast out (John 6:37 ESV).
Create space for honesty, conviction, and hope.

BREAD OF LIFE
Some may ask, ‘Who am I?’
Jesus came to provide this answer for us.
You can come to Jesus and miss what He is really all about.
John 6:27-31 ESV
Jesus wants us to seek eternal life, not things that only satisfy for a moment.
Jesus wants us to believe in Him.
It is dangerous to come to God on your terms.
We can get OBSESSED with what we THINK will SATISFY us.
Jesus is enough.
Exodus 16:31; Numbers 21:4–5 ESV
Q. How can we honestly evaluate whether we are coming to Jesus for who He truly is—the Bread of Life—or simply for what we hope He will temporarily give us?
1. Nothing OTHER than Jesus is ENOUGH.
John 6:32-44 ESV
Jesus is the Bread of Life.
We will never be satisfied in the GOOD THINGS God gives if
We don’t know the FATHER who GIVES them.
We are saved because God drew (dragged) us to Himself.
Romans 3:11–12 ESV
Q. How can good gifts from God subtly become replacements for God in our lives?
Leader Prompt:
Guide the group to realize that even blessings such as family, ministry success, provision, and health can substitute for intimacy with the Father. Focus on the heart’s posture rather than guilt. Gently return the discussion to Jesus as the true Bread who satisfies.
Practical Application:
This week, intentionally thank God not just for what He has given you—but for who He is. Spend time in prayer focusing on His character rather than your needs.
2. No one OTHER than the FATHER can Satisfy me.
John 6:45 ESV
If you hear the Father, you will come to Jesus.
John 6:48-51 ESV
Whatever you are looking to satisfy you, will never ultimately fulfill you.
Every MIRACLE outside of SALVATION does NOT LAST.
John 6:57-65 ESV
I’m ONLY SAVED because the Father SAVED ME.
Q. How does understanding that salvation is completely God’s work reshape the way you see your identity and your daily dependence on Him?
Leader Prompt:
Emphasize humility and assurance. Salvation is not something we achieve—it is given by the Father. Encourage the group to reflect on the temporary nature of physical miracles compared to the eternal miracle of new life. Foster gratitude, not pride; cultivate confidence rooted in God’s saving power.
Practical Application:
Take time this week to thank the Father specifically for drawing you, teaching you, and giving you life through Jesus. Write down your salvation story in one paragraph and highlight where you clearly see God’s hand at work.
3. Anyone who BELIEVES RECEIVES eternal life.
Believe in Jesus.
A. We must TRULY COME to Jesus as we are: EMPTY.
B. We must TRULY BELIEVE in Him.
John 6:29 ESV
C. We must SINCERELY LOOK on Him.
John 6:40 ESV
D. We must FEED on His WORDS.
John 6:54 ESV
“Thou hast formed us for Thyself, and our hearts are restless till they find
their rest in Thee.” – Saint Augustine
Q. Which of these—coming empty, believing fully, looking to Him, or feeding on His Word—do you need to grow in most right now?
Leader Prompt:
Encourage honest reflection without pressure. Help the group see that eternal life starts now, not only in heaven. Emphasize active, ongoing belief—it shapes daily living, thinking, and satisfaction.
Practical Application:
Choose one of the four responses (come, believe, look, feed) and intentionally practice it this week. For example, begin each day by surrendering your needs to Jesus, or commit to daily time in His Word as your spiritual nourishment.
So who am I?
I am someone who will ONLY find ETERNAL DELIGHT in Jesus.
Nothing OTHER than Jesus is ENOUGH.
Closing Prayer:
Father, forgive us for chasing bread that perishes. Forgive us for settling for temporary satisfaction when You offer eternal life. Teach us to come empty, believe fully, and feed daily on Your Word. Anchor our identity in Christ alone. May we leave here convinced that Jesus is enough. In His powerful name we pray, Amen.
