SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER AND 6:00 AM WORSHIP ON PAUSE THROUGH THE SUMMER.

NOTE:

Two opportunities to pray:

Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!

North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off the break room during the second and third services.  Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.

Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

NORTH ATTLEBORO

Prayer at the Altar – AFTER SERVICES

If possible, please make an effort to be at the altar after this service to pray for others.

Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**

**The Leader prompts help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**

Key Verse:

ICE BREAKER

Q.  If you could add one completely useless but hilarious feature to your car, what would it be?

Examples: popcorn dispenser, confetti cannon, karaoke machine, hot dog roller, etc.

Jesus: Our Ultimate Fulfillment

John 4

Opening Prayer

Lord Jesus, open our hearts tonight. Help us see where we have been looking for satisfaction outside of You. Thank You for meeting us where we are and drawing us to Yourself. Amen.

The problem isn’t always about WHAT you want, it’s WHERE you’re looking for it.

1 John 2:16 ESV

  1. Jesus MEETS you where you are.

Three social barriers Jesus crossed to reach the woman:

JEW SAMARITAN

MAN WOMAN

RABBI WOMAN

WE don’t find Jesus because we were looking for Him; we find Jesus because HE came looking for us.

John 4:13-14 ESV

Q. What are some good things people often look to for satisfaction, identity, or comfort that can never truly satisfy?

Leader Prompt: Help the group see that desires are not always wrong, but they become dangerous when we look to the world rather than to Jesus to fulfill them.

Practical Application: This week, identify one place you have been looking for satisfaction apart from Christ, and bring it honestly to Him in prayer.

2. Jesus SHOWS you what can’t SATISFY you.

John 4:16-18 ESV

Three lies the world tries to sell you:

A. PLEASURE

Ecclesiastes 2:10-11

B. POSSESSIONS

Matthew 6:19-21 ESV

C. PEOPLE

Q. How have you seen the pursuit of pleasure, possessions, or approval from people leave someone still wanting more?

Leader Prompt: Help the group recognize that pleasure, possessions, and people are not wrong in themselves, but they make poor saviors. Only Jesus can satisfy the deepest needs of the human heart.

Practical Application: Ask God to reveal any area where you’ve been seeking fulfillment apart from Him. Take one intentional step this week to turn your attention and trust back to Christ.

3. Jesus CHANGES your story.

Matthew 28:19 ESV

Q. How has your relationship with Jesus changed your story, and how could your story help someone else take a step toward Him?

Leader Prompt: The Samaritan woman went from being an outcast to becoming a witness. Jesus doesn’t just forgive our past—He transforms our future and uses our story to point others to Him.

Practical Application: Take a few minutes this week to write down your testimony in a few sentences and look for an opportunity to share part of your story with someone who needs hope.

Sermon in a Sentence:

Jesus MEETS you where you are, SATISFIES what nothing else can, and GIVES you a

new life.

Closing Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to find us, satisfy us, and change our story. Help us stop looking to the things of this world for what only You can provide. Fill us with Your living water and use our lives to point others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
