Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!
North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off the break room during the second and third services. Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.
Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

LIFE GROUP LEADER MEETING RE-CAP VIDEO
Thank you to everyone who attended our Life Group Leader Meeting this past Monday. We heard a powerful message from Pastor Tim on Stewardship vs. Ownership.
If you were unable to attend—or if you’d like to watch it again—please take a few moments to view the message using the link below. I strongly encourage you to watch, as it highlights key principles for this ministry.

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**
**The Leader prompts and the Leader Insight Box are to help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**
Key Verse: Psalm 71
Ice-breaker
Q. If you could have dinner with any celebrity (past or present), who would you choose and what would you ask them and what would you have for dinner?
Opening Prayer:
Lord, thank You for bringing us together today. We are grateful for every season of life and for the purpose You give us in each one. Open our hearts to hear from You, teach us through Your Word, and help us to grow in faith. Show us how we can invest in others and make a lasting impact for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen
YOUTH is the IDOL of those without FAITH.
We are a culture that idolizes young people.
We are all going to get older, and there is no stopping it.
Old age is a blessing to those with faith.
OLD AGE doesn’t EXEMPT God’s people from TROUBLE, it
gives you an elevated PURPOSE.
Psalm 71:18 ESV
Growing old is not a curse; it is a call of God. Use your age for others. Inspire the next generation.
Q. How does our culture’s obsession with youth make it harder to see old age as a God-given purpose instead of a problem?
Leader Prompt: Remind the group that Psalm 71:18 shows a heart that still wants to declare God’s power to the next generation. Age does not cancel calling.
Practical Application: This week, encourage someone younger in the faith. Share one story of God’s faithfulness and one truth from Scripture that helped you endure.
Age becomes an asset when we give the next generation:
- TIME together in God’s WORD and WORK.
Young people are not just looking for a Sunday church experience—they are hungry for something deeper. They are seeking a faith lived out daily, and they need us to come alongside them to guide and grow their faith.
Psalm 71:1–3 ESV
Q. How can you move beyond just attending church and actively help meet the deeper spiritual hunger of the next generation?
Leader Prompt: Remind the group that younger generations are looking for real, lived-out faith—not just Sunday experiences. They need guidance, relationships, and examples.
Practical Application: This week, take one intentional step to engage a younger person outside of Sunday—invite them into your daily walk with God, whether through conversation, prayer, or serving together.
Age becomes an asset when we give the next generation:
2. TESTIMONY of God’s ACTIVITY in our lives.
Share with the next generation what God has done in your life. Any troubles you have faced, others have faced as well.
Psalm 71:14-16 ESV
Q. What is one specific way you’ve seen God work in your life that could encourage someone younger, and who can you share it with?
Leader Prompt: Encourage the group that their story matters—God’s faithfulness in their life becomes fuel for someone else’s faith.
Practical Application: Write down one personal testimony of God’s goodness and share it with someone this week—whether in conversation, text, or in your group.
Age becomes an asset when we give the next generation:
3. TREASURE temporarily ENTRUSTED to us.
Luke 12:16–21 ESV
1 Chronicles 22:14, 16 ESV
Don’t set your children up for life without having to lean on Christ.
We are called to invest beyond ourselves and into the next generation. Next week, bring your best as we participate in the Generational Influence Offering.
Q. How can you use what God has entrusted to you to help the next generation depend on Christ rather than just succeed in life?
Leader Prompt: Help the group see that everything we have is temporary and given by God for a purpose—our legacy is not what we keep, but what we pass on.
Practical Application: Identify one resource (time, finances, skills, or wisdom) you can intentionally invest into someone else this week—whether through generosity, mentoring, or serving.
Age becomes an asset when we give the next generation:
4. TRUST in the ETERNAL hope of JESUS.
The best thing older members of our community can do for the younger members is to die well.
Psalm 71:20 ESV
1 Peter 1:3–4 ESV
Q. What kind of faith do you want others to see in you, both now and at the end of your life?
Leader Prompt: Encourage the group to think about legacy—not just how they live today, but how their life will be remembered. A life anchored in Christ becomes a visible testimony that points others to Him, even in the final seasons.
Practical Application: Take time this week to reflect on the kind of legacy you are building. Write down one way you can intentionally live out your faith more visibly—through your words, actions, or how you handle challenges—so that it points others to Jesus.
Sermon in a sentence:
Age becomes an asset when it is spent DECLARING God’s might, DISPLAYING God’s faithfulness, and INVESTING in God’s children for ETERNAL life.
Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank You for reminding us that every season of life has purpose. Thank You for the time, testimony, treasure, and trust You have given us to invest in others. Help us not to hold back, but to pour into the next generation with faith and boldness. Strengthen us to share Your Word, tell of Your goodness, and live with eternal perspective. Use our lives to make an impact that points others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
