Two opportunities to pray:

Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!

North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off the break room during the second and third services.  Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.

Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

NORTH ATTLEBORO

Prayer at the Altar – AFTER SERVICES

If possible, please make an effort to be at the altar after this service to pray for others.

Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

LIFE GROUP LEADER MEETING RE-CAP VIDEO

Thank you to everyone who attended our Life Group Leader Meeting this past Monday. We heard a powerful message from Pastor Tim on Stewardship vs. Ownership.

If you were unable to attend—or if you’d like to watch it again—please take a few moments to view the message using the link below. I strongly encourage you to watch, as it highlights key principles for this ministry.

https://youtube.com/live/vtBj-LCldbI?feature=share

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**

**The Leader prompts and the Leader Insight Box are to help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**

Key Verse: Psalm 78

Icebreaker Question:

If this group had to compete on a game show together, what would you name our team, and what would each person’s role be (the brains, the hype person, the wildcard, etc.)?

Opening Prayer:

Lord, thank You for bringing us together today. Open our hearts to receive Your truth and remind us that You want to use each of us to impact the next generation. Help us to be faithful in sharing what we’ve heard and known, to speak words that matter, and to trust You beyond our insecurities. Teach us, grow us, and lead us by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Generational Influence Offering Sunday, May 3.

There are children yet to be born in our Church that will carry the torch.

The Next Generation is PRIMED for INVESTMENT.

This generation is a hungry generation.  There is a stirring in the youngest members of our country for Jesus.

Psalm 78 is a SONG to PASS ON generational WISDOM.

Psalm 78:7-8 ESV

The most important message we can send to the next generation: YOU never LOSE when you TRUST GOD.

Your children will go through things you cannot fix for them.

Q. What does it practically look like to invest in the next generation so they learn to trust God from your life, not just your words?

Generational Impact happens when:

1. We TEACH what we have HEARD and KNOWN.

Psalm 78:1-3 ESV

To pass on your faith, you need to open your mouth and speak it.

Every Christian can be a TEACHER.

Colossians 3:16 ESV

1 Corinthians 1:27–29 ESV

God can do anything with anybody, including you.

Q. What is God teaching you that you can begin passing on to someone else?

Leader Prompt: Encourage the group to see that teaching isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about sharing what God has already done and revealed in their lives.

Practical Application: Identify one person this week (child, friend, or newer believer) and intentionally share a truth or testimony of what God has taught you.

Generational Impact happens when:

2. We TALK about things that MATTER.

Psalm 78:3 ESV

Have a faith conversation with your children.  Talk to them about what matters.

Matthew 13:35 ESV

The words of Jesus MATTER MOST.

Q. What do your everyday conversations reveal about what matters most in your heart? Are the words of Jesus shaping what you talk about?

Leader Prompt: Guide the group to reflect on how intentional conversations can point others to Jesus—what we talk about regularly reveals what we truly value.

Practical Application: This week, intentionally bring Jesus into at least one conversation—share a scripture, a truth, or something God is teaching you.

Generational Impact happens when:

3. We REJECT our INSECURITIES for the sake of another’s FAITH.

Psalm 78:4 ESV

Matthew 5:14 ESV

Two big themes of Psalm 78:

A. God is FAITHFUL even when people FAIL.

Psalm 78:11 ESV

Psalm 78:23–25 ESV

Despite Israel’s failures, God was faithful.

B. REMEMBERING God RESTORES anyone’s STORY.

Psalm 78:35-39 ESV

Q. What insecurities or fears might be holding you back from shining your light and helping someone else grow in their faith?

Leader Prompt: Remind the group that God uses imperfect people—our confidence isn’t in ourselves but in His faithfulness. When we step out in spite of our insecurity, it can impact someone else’s faith journey.

Practical Application: Take one step this week to move past insecurity—share your story, pray out loud with someone, or speak words of encouragement—trusting that God will use it for His purpose.

Sermon in a Sentence:

The next generation doesn’t need me to be PERFECT; they need to hear the IMPACT of God’s GRACE on my LIFE.

Closing Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness even when we fall short. Help us to remember all that You have done and to boldly share it with others. Give us the courage to move past our insecurities and invest in the lives around us. Let our words reflect Your truth, and our lives point others to You. Use us to strengthen the faith of the next generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
