NOTE:
Two opportunities to pray:
Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!
North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off the break room during the second and third services. Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.
Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.
NORTH ATTLEBORO
Prayer at the Altar – AFTER SERVICES
If possible, please make an effort to be at the altar after this service to pray for others.
Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

LIFE GROUP LEADER MEETING RE-CAP VIDEO
Thank you to everyone who attended our Life Group Leader Meeting this past Monday. We heard a powerful message from Pastor Tim on Stewardship vs. Ownership.
If you were unable to attend—or if you’d like to watch it again—please take a few moments to view the message using the link below. I strongly encourage you to watch, as it highlights key principles for this ministry.

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**
**The Leader prompts and the Leader Insight Box are to help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**
KEY VERSE: Mattgew 18
Ice Breaker Question:
If your life had a theme song that played every time you walked into a room, what would it be?
Opening Prayer:
Lord, we come before You with open hearts. Teach us what true greatness looks like in Your Kingdom. Help us to lay down pride, comparison, and selfish ambition, and to embrace humility and a heart like Jesus. Transform the way we think, live, and lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
The Common Conflict
What MUST I DO to be the GREATEST?
Matthew 18:1 ESV
Kingdom VALUES are not MEASURED with worldly CURRENCY
Q. Why do we want to be seen as great, and how does Jesus challenge that desire in Matthew 18:1?
Leader Prompt: Gently guide the group to see that Jesus redirects the focus from “being the greatest” to becoming humble.
Practical Application: This week, when you feel like comparing or wanting recognition, try encouraging someone else or letting them shine instead.
1. God’s GREATNESS is FOUND in the UNEXPECTED
Matthew 18:2 ESV
1 Corinthians 1:27–29 ESV
Spiritual MATURITY is not GROWING OUT of childlike faith; it is GROWING DEEPER into it.
Q. How does childlike faith show up in your life right now, and what holds you back from fully living it?
Leader Prompt: Emphasize that maturity means being more trusting and humble, like a child.
Practical Application: This week, trust God in one area. Pray simply and take one small step of faith.
2. God’s KINGDOM requires REPENTANCE
Matthew 18:3 ESV
James 4:6–8 NLT
Isaiah 66:2 NIV
Q. In what area is God inviting you to turn back to Him in repentance?
Leader Prompt: Explain repentance as humbly turning to God, not just feeling sorry.
Practical Application: This week, look at your heart, admit anything wrong, and turn back to God.
3. Jesus REDEFINES everything
Matthew 18:4 ESV
Philippians 2:3–7 ESV
Q. How is Jesus inviting you to rethink your idea of greatness in your everyday life?
Leader Prompt: Show that Jesus defines greatness as humble service, not self-promotion.
Practical Application: This week, put someone first—serve, listen, or give with no expectation.
Sermon in a Sentence:
The greatest POSTURE before God is to HUMBLY RECEIVE Jesus with a CHILDLIKE RELIANCE.
Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank You for showing us that Your ways are higher than ours. Teach us to walk in humility, to turn to You in repentance, and to embrace the kind of greatness that reflects Jesus. Help us to lay down pride and choose to live differently—putting others before ourselves and trusting You with childlike faith. Transform our hearts so that our lives honor You in everything we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
