WATERS UNIVERSITY – Re-Engage starts the first week in March and Alpha Spring classes in April!

We’re looking to grow healthy Christians at Waters Church…spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, and relationally — that is the mission of Waters University.

We are well into our Financial Peace University Spring classes and looking forward to the March start for “Re-Engage” classes and the mid April start to “Alpha” classes at the North Attleboro, Woonsocket, Southcoast and Apollo Beach campuses.
Re‑Engage is a Christ‑centered marriage‑enrichment experience that helps couples reconnect, strengthen communication, and grow together through honest conversation and community support.
Alpha is a welcoming, conversation‑driven introduction to the Christian faith where anyone can explore life’s big questions in a relaxed, judgment‑free environment.
Go to https://watersu.org/ or click the link below now for more information on classes and to register.   Registrations should be posted soon if they’re not already up.

Please note: Life Groups that generously provide or sponsor a meal for Alpha are deeply appreciated. To help create a safe and consistent environment where guests feel comfortable opening up, we kindly ask that groups serve the meal and then allow the Alpha team and registered participants to continue the class and discussion.

Thank you!

NOTE:

Two opportunities to pray:

Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!

North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you are available, or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off of the break room area during the second and third services.  Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.

Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

NORTH ATTLEBORO

Prayer at the Altar – AFTER SERVICES

If possible, please make an effort to be at the altar after this service to pray for others.

Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

IMPORTANT FOR EASTER SUNDAY – NORTH ATTLEBORO

LIFE GROUP LEADER MEETING RE-CAP VIDEO

Thank you to everyone who attended our Life Group Leader Meeting this past Monday. We heard a powerful message from Pastor Tim on Stewardship vs. Ownership.

If you were unable to attend—or if you’d like to watch it again—please take a few moments to view the message using the link below. I strongly encourage you to watch, as it highlights key principles for this ministry.

IMPORTANT EASTER INFO FOR NORTH ATTLEBORO:

As you know, Easter is just a few weeks away, and we need your help! Please consider attending either the 8:00 or 12:00 service, and encourage your groups to do the same, so that our 10:00 service is not too full!

However, if any of the services are too full, we plan to use two overflow areas: one in the vault and one in the upstairs cafeteria.  We need your help here as well.

We want this to be a full experience for everyone, so we would like leaders available in each overflow area for prayer after service and to recognize people who stand for salvation. Please consider your service attendance and let us know if you can help at one of the overflow areas. God Bless!

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**

**The Leader prompts and the Leader Insight Box are to help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**

KEY VERSE: John 14

Ice Breaker:

Q. If you could instantly travel anywhere, where would you go, and why?

Opening Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for bringing us together. Open our hearts and minds to better understand who You are. Help us not just to hear the truth, but to live it. Show us our identity in You and lead us closer to Your presence. In Your name, amen.

John 14:1 ESV

John 14:6 ESV

Jesus is not ‘a ’ way, He is ‘The’ way.

No one gets the presence, power, and privilege of God’s PROMISES apart from the PERSON of JESUS CHRIST.

  1. Jesus is THE WAY to God and the WAY to LIVE with God.

The problem is not getting to God, but what you will do or say when you get there.

Hebrews 12:29 ESV

1 Timothy 6:16 ESV

Revelation 1:17 ESV

We do not just need DIRECTION to God, we need MEDIATION before God.

A . He is our MEDIATOR before God.

1 Timothy 2:5–6 ESV

B. He is our RIGHTEOUSNESS.

2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV

C. He is our ADVOCATE.

1 John 2:1 ESV

You only get access to the presence of God because you have a friend, Jesus

Q. Why do we need Jesus to stand in our place before God, not just point us toward Him?

Leader Prompt:

Encourage the group to see that spiritual understanding is a gift from God and gently invite them to trust Him to reveal truth through His Word.

Practical Application:

Spend time this week intentionally approaching God through Jesus in prayer, acknowledging Him as your mediator, righteousness, and advocate.

2. Jesus is the TRUTH by Whom we KNOW God.

TRUTH is not only a matter of INFORMATION. It’s a matter of REVELATION and INTERPRETATION.

Two people can have completely different interpretations of the same thing.

John 1:18 ESV

Colossians 2:3 ESV

Luke 24:45 ESV

We cannot interpret reality without Christ. When Jesus comes into your life, the scriptures finally make sense.

Q. Why must truth come from God, not us?

Leader Prompt:

Invite the group to share thoughts about common voices that challenge God’s truth, and help them anchor their thinking in Scripture.

Practical Application:

Choose one Scripture this week and ask Jesus to open your understanding, allowing His truth to shape how you think and live.

3. Jesus is the LIFE of God FOR us and IN us.

You have a connection to the One who made you.

John 10:10 ESV

Q. What does it look like for you personally to live in the fullness of life that Jesus offers?

Leader Prompt:

Gently encourage group members to move beyond surface-level responses, sharing real-life examples of what abundant life in Christ looks like day to day.

Practical Application:

Invite Jesus into one specific area of your life where you need His life to flow—through prayer, surrender, and trust.

4. Jesus is the EXCLUSIVE means of ETERNAL salvation.

John 14:6 ESV; Acts 4:12 ESV; 1 John 5:12 ESV

All religions believe in Jesus, but on their own terms.  This is how the unredeemed lost heart treats Jesus.

Jesus says you cannot believe in Him on your own terms.

Q. What holds people back from believing that Jesus is the only way, and how can we respond to that?

Leader Prompt

Support the group in understanding common beliefs and barriers, and encourage responses that balance biblical truth with genuine compassion.

Practical Application:

Pray for one person who does not yet know Jesus and ask God to give you an opportunity and the words to share truth with both grace and clarity.

Final question:

If Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—then the only question left is: WHO am I in RELATION to HIM?

Key Takeaways:

Name 3 key takeaways that you received from this message.

Closing Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for being the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank You that we don’t have to search for our own path—you have made the way for us. Thank You for revealing the truth to us and giving us a real, abundant life. Help us to walk closely with You every day, to trust You fully, and to live in a way that reflects who You are. Give us courage and compassion to share You with others who don’t yet know You. Remind us this week of our identity in You and help us live it out boldly. In Your name, amen.
