************************

The Generational Influence giving campaign has been extended an additional 10 weeks. It is now 30 weeks with a May 3rd offering date.

WATERS UNIVERSITY – Re-Engage starts the first week in March and Alpha Spring classes in April!

We’re looking to grow healthy Christians at Waters Church…spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, and relationally — that is the mission of Waters University.

We are well into our Financial Peace University Spring classes and looking forward to the March start for “Re-Engage” classes and the mid April start to “Alpha” classes at the North Attleboro, Woonsocket, Southcoast and Apollo Beach campuses.
Re‑Engage is a Christ‑centered marriage‑enrichment experience that helps couples reconnect, strengthen communication, and grow together through honest conversation and community support.
Alpha is a welcoming, conversation‑driven introduction to the Christian faith where anyone can explore life’s big questions in a relaxed, judgment‑free environment.
Go to https://watersu.org/ or click the link below now for more information on classes and to register.   Registrations should be posted soon if they’re not already up.

Please note: Life Groups that generously provide or sponsor a meal for Alpha are deeply appreciated. To help create a safe and consistent environment where guests feel comfortable opening up, we kindly ask that groups serve the meal and then allow the Alpha team and registered participants to continue the class and discussion.

Thank you!

NOTE:

Two opportunities to pray:

Leaders only: Please be available at the end of services to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!

North Attleboro Leaders and members: If you are available, or any member of your group who currently serves is available, there is an opportunity to meet for prayer in the conference room off of the break room area during the second and third services.  Please see Doug and Joanie White or Felix Shyllon if you would like to be a part of that ministry.

Please note: if you have a member who is not currently serving and would like to be part of the prayer during the service team, please have them take the appropriate steps to become a serve team member.

NORTH ATTLEBORO

Prayer at the Altar – AFTER SERVICES

If possible, please make an effort to be at the altar after this service to pray for others.

Your presence makes a difference—thank you for serving!

IMPORTANT FOR EASTER SUNDAY – NORTH ATTLEBORO

LIFE GROUP LEADER MEETING RE-CAP VIDEO

Thank you to everyone who attended our Life Group Leader Meeting this past Monday. We heard a powerful message from Pastor Tim on Stewardship vs. Ownership.

If you were unable to attend—or if you’d like to watch it again—please take a few moments to view the message using the link below. I strongly encourage you to watch, as it highlights key principles for this ministry.

IMPORTANT EASTER INFO FOR NORTH ATTLEBORO:

As you know, Easter is just a few weeks away, and we need your help! Please consider attending either the 8:00 or 12:00 service, and encourage your groups to do the same, so that our 10:00 service is not too full!

However, if any of the services are too full, we plan to use two overflow areas: one in the vault and one in the upstairs cafeteria.  We need your help here as well.

We want this to be a full experience for everyone, so we would like leaders available in each overflow area for prayer after service and to recognize people who stand for salvation. Please consider your service attendance and let us know if you can help at one of the overflow areas. God Bless!

**Please read all scripture in the ESV, unless otherwise noted.**

**The Leader prompts and the Leader Insight Box are to help you, as the leader, move the conversation along.**

KEY VERSE: John 11

I Am: Finding My Identity in Who He is

The Resurrection and the Life

John 11

Icebreaker

What is one name, nickname, or title you have been called that meant a lot to you, and why?

Opening Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You that our identity is not built on our past, our weakness, our failures, or the opinions of others, but on who You are. Open our hearts to hear Your voice, believe Your truth, and walk in the life You give. Help us to see ourselves through Your love and respond with faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.

___________________________________

John 11:25–26 ESV

The hope of resurrection is not a DOCTRINAL BELIEF but PERSONAL ENCOUNTER with Christ.

The entire structure of Christendom rests on Jesus’s resurrection; without Him, there is no resurrection or life.

Leader Insight  Box (for the leader only)

John chapter 11 passage moves from the tomb to the table. That is the journey of the believer. Jesus does not just improve people. He brings dead people to life. He does not merely rescue us from something. He brings us into a relationship with Himself. Keep bringing the group back to this question from John 11:26: Do you believe this?

_____________________________________________________________

  1. Before Jesus, I am LOVED in my WEAKNESS.

John 11:1– 6ESV

You can have the Lord and still be weak.  You are weak apart from Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:43 ESV

John 11:21-27 ESV

Jesus delays.

John 11:39 ESV

Believing in less than what God is able to do is spiritual weakness.

We are all WEAK and we all STINK, and yet we are LOVED by the LORD.

Q. Where do you most feel weak right now, and how does it change your perspective to know that Jesus loves you there?

Leader Prompts

Why do we struggle to bring weakness to God?  What does trusting Jesus’ timing look like?

Practical Application

This week, boldly bring your weakness to Jesus.  Pray specifically about where you feel frail, disappointed, or stuck, and actively trust Him to meet you there.  Record how God responds.

2. Before Jesus, I am DEAD in SIN.

We must understand the terms of our salvation.

John 11:17 ESV

Jesus does not resuscitate Lazarus; He raises him from the dead.  Lazarus is the picture of resurrected life.

Ephesians 2:1-5 ESV

John 11:33–38 ESV

Christ has come in anger about what sin has done to you.

Q. Why is it important to understand that, apart from Christ, we were spiritually dead?

Leader Prompts

What is the difference between needing help and needing a new life?  What does this reveal about God’s mercy?

Practical Application

Thank Jesus this week for saving you.  Take time to reflect on what He brought you out of, and share your gratitude with someone else as a witness to His work.

3. Through Christ, I am CALLED by NAME.

John 11:43 ESV

Isaiah 43:1 ESV

If you are a Christian, your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Jesus calls His own by name.

Q. What does it mean to you that you are not just known by Jesus, but chosen and called by Him?

Leader Prompts

How is this different from just knowing about Jesus?  What voices compete with His?

Practical Application

Listen for Jesus this week through Scripture and prayer. Write down what He is saying to you.

4. In Christ I am RAISED but still WRAPPED.

John 11:44

You are saved, but you are still sinful.  This is sanctification: God making you more like Jesus.

2 Corinthians 4:16

Sanctification doesn’t just apply to your habits; it applies to your heart.

Though you are holier than you were, you feel worse about your sin because your heart is closer to Jesus.

Romans 7:24; Ephesians 3:8; 1 Timothy 1:15

Q. What “grave clothes” might God still be removing in your life?

Leader Prompts

Why is growth a process?  What is the difference between conviction and condemnation?

Practical Application

Ask God to show one area He is working on and take one step of obedience.

5. Because of Christ, I’m HATED in this WORLD.

John 12:10–11 ESV

When you are raised to new life in Christ, the devil puts a target on your back.

John 15:18 ESV

Q. When have you felt resistance because of your faith, and how did you respond?

Leader Prompts

Why does faith in Jesus create tension? How can we stay loving and bold?

Practical Application

Choose faithfulness over approval this week in one situation.

6. With Christ, I am SEATED at the TABLE.

John 12:1–2 ESV

You are not just loved in spite of your sin; you are seated at the table with Him.

Ephesians 2:6 ESV

Luke 22:29–30 ESV

Q. What does it mean to you that Jesus brings you to His table?

Closing Prayer

Jesus, thank You that You are the resurrection and the life. Thank You for loving us in our weakness, calling us by name, and raising us from death into life. Help us to trust You, follow You, and live in the identity You have given us. Strengthen us when we face opposition, continue Your work in our hearts, and remind us that we belong at Your table. In Jesus’ name, amen.
