Father, we thank You for the gift of children and the privilege of family. As we gather, we ask for your presence to lead us. Open our hearts to receive Your truth, challenge our thinking, and give us courage to stand firm in our homes. Help us to raise godly children who will shape the world for Your glory. The home is the primary target of the devil.
In our current society, parents are undermined at every level by schools, politicians, and social media.
We are at war.
PERMISSIVE parenting creates LONG-TERM PROBLEMS.

Psalm 127 Theme:
If God is not at the CENTER of the FAMILY, it doesn’t MATTER what society BUILDS.
Psalm 127:1 (ESV)
House not only means a physical structure, but it also means family. Within the home, there is peace, not confusion or chaos; there is love and truth. We need the Lord to make it with us; if not, we are waiting for disaster to happen.
- The HOME without the LORD will be HOLLOW.
When you get married, you create a home, and the Lord should be in charge of that establishment.

Parents have a responsibility to serve the Lord.
Q. Can you share an experience from your childhood—whether you grew up in a godly home or not—that shaped the way you view faith and family today?
Practical Application:
Set one spiritual goal for your household this week—whether praying together, attending church as a family, or starting a short devotional routine.
2. The CITY without Godly HOMES will be HELPLESS.
The reason God wants to be first in the home and parenting is that your home can bless your community.
America is trying a deadly experiment. We want safety, but we don’t want Scripture.
So what have we got in our schools now?
1. The RELIGION of SEXUAL CONFUSION and gender fluidity.
2. A culture of VIOLENCE.
3. The false idol of over-MEDICATION.
Without the Lord, you can’t have homes put together.
Psalm 127:2 (ESV)
In the first two verses of Psalm 127, we have a picture of the SECULAR blueprint for SOCIETY:
1. Families without FAITH. (Verse 1)
2. Cities without SAFETY. (Verse 1b)
3. Workers without REST. (Verse 2)
Q. How do godly homes contribute to a healthier, safer community or society? What are the ways you contribute to building a godly home that blesses your neighborhood or community?
Practical Application:
Pray for three families in your neighborhood this week. Ask God to strengthen and bless their homes with His presence.
3. SOCIETY survives through godly CHILDREN.
Psalm 127:3 (ESV)
Raising children God’s way will change the course of human history.
A. Children are God’s LONG-TERM plan to save SOCIETY.
A child is a tree, but parents won’t get fruit for a long time.
Christians must see children as the soil of our future, and the seeds we sow into them will change the world.
Q. What seeds of faith, character, or truth are you intentionally planting in the children around you today that could bear fruit in the future?
B. Children must be SHARPENED for life’s BATTLES.

Children are arrows! You have to sharpen them. Sharpening happens through friction.
You have to rub off the misplaced ambitions and emotions, and mentalities of your children, and make them singularly focused on God’s plan for the world.
Q. What makes it difficult to “sharpen” children for God’s purpose, and how can we stay faithful in that process even when it’s challenging or uncomfortable?
C. SHARPENED children will SHAPE the CULTURE.

If you fill your house with godly children, then outsiders will be envious (in a positive way) of what is happening in your home.

Support a parent, mentor, or children’s ministry leader this week through prayer, service, or words of encouragement.

Lord, we lift up our homes, our children, and our communities. We ask you to take your rightful place at the center of our families.
