Please be available at the end of service to pray for those who come forward. If you are not actively serving during the service you are attending, make it a priority to head to the front when the invitation is given. Your presence matters!

Opening Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for inviting us into Your rest. As we gather today, we ask for Your Spirit to quiet our hearts, open our minds, and refresh our souls. Teach us what it truly means to rest—in our bodies, minds, and spirits—and to trust fully in the finished work of Christ. Help us release every burden, every anxious thought, and every place of unrest. May Your Word speak deeply to us, and may we leave here more surrendered to Your care. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Ice Breaker Question:

“If you could witness one miracle in the Bible firsthand, which would it be and why?”

We’re living in a time where many people ask, ‘Where are the miracles?’

Our eyes are on the wrong thing when we focus just on miracles.

God is a God of miracles who does the miraculous. Everything he does is miraculous.

We walk by faith, not by sight. If we never see a miracle, we still have faith.

There are many miracles in Scripture, and many of them remain remembered today. Most of the miracles that took place in the Old Testament have no direct impact on our lives, many of which we are familiar with.

7 Miracles that HAVE an impact on our lives:

  1. The miracle of the incarnation. God BECAME A MAN.

The God who created the universe became a man.  That is a great miracle.

He is all-powerful, ever-present, and has limited himself to a human body.

Jesus was truly God and truly man.  He stepped out of that righteous holy place and came into a world captivated by sin and darkness. He did this for us.

2 Corinthians 5:19 NKJV

Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV

Q. Why is it essential to your faith that Jesus came to earth as both fully God and fully man?

Practical Application:

This week, reflect on the humility of Christ’s incarnation. Take intentional time in prayer to thank God for stepping into your world and understand how His nearness changes your daily life.

2. The miracle of Jesus LIVING a SINLESS LIFE.

Never before has anyone lived a sinless life except for  Adam and Eve before they sinned.

Jesus laid down his perogatives as God and became a man.  He was tempted with every temptation yet without sin, that is miraculous!

Jesus lived a perfect life.  He identified with our failures and shortcomings so that, in the power of his Father, we can live victorious lives.

2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV

1 John 3:5 NKJV

1 Peter 2:22 NKJV

Q. What does Jesus’ sinless life show you about God’s power to help us overcome sin in our own lives?

Practical Application:

Look at one area of temptation in your life. Ask the Holy Spirit for the strength to live in obedience, just as Jesus did, and seek accountability from someone in your group this week.

3. The miracle of Jesus’s DEATH on a CROSS.

He has the power to lay down and take up his life.  He willingly died on that cross so that we would have life.

Matthew 27:45-56 NKJV

Other miracles that happened at this time:

1. Ninth hour – Darkness.

2. Loud voice.

3. Forsaken by The Father.

4. Yielded up His Spirit.

5. Veil of the Temple torn in two from top to bottom.

6. Earth shook – Rocks split.

7. Many were raised from the dead and came out of the graves.

Q. How do the miraculous events surrounding Jesus’ death help you understand the significance and power of what He accomplished on the cross?

Practical Application:

Take a moment this week to write a brief letter of gratitude to Jesus, acknowledging what His death has meant to you. Share with your group next week if you feel led.

4. The miracle of Jesus’s RESURRECTION to LIFE.

Matthew 28:1-10 NKJV

Before he ascended to the Father, he went into the heart of the earth, the stronghold of the devil.  He strips him of his authority and strips him of the keys of hell and death, and now Jesus has the keys of hell and death!

The devil is powerless, but what he can do is deceive you.

I AM THE RESURRECTION.

John 11:25 NKJV

I AM HE WHO WAS DEAD.

Revelation 1:12 NKJV

He died for us, and He resurrected for us.

Q. How does the resurrection change the way you view death and life today?

Practical Application:

Proclaim the truth of Jesus’ resurrection by encouraging someone going through a hard season. Speak life into their situation through prayer or a word of hope.

5. The miracle of redemption. The NEW LIFE in CHRIST.

The most crucial message today is the message of redemption.   Jesus will restore all that is lost.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

Coming to Jesus is not getting religion.  It’s an entirely new life.

We are delivered from our sin.  We are free!

John 8:36  – Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

CREATED FOR HIS GLORY.

Isaiah 43:7 NKJV

Q. What does it look like to live as a new creation in your daily routines and relationships?

Practical Application:

Identify one old pattern that doesn’t align with your new identity in Christ. Replace it with a Christ-honoring habit this week—reading Scripture, forgiving someone, or serving sacrificially.

6. The miracle of HIS Church. The REDEEMED of THE LORD.

The Church is not an organization.  It is a Body, and Christ is the head.  We, who have been born again, are all members of that Body.  We were baptized into the Body, and we become a member of the Body of Christ.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

It is a privilege for us to be in the Church.

Matthew 16:18 NKJV

Q. How does knowing you are part of the Body of Christ shape the way you live, serve, and connect with others in the Church?

Practical Application:

Commit to one intentional act of love for your church community this week. Encourage a leader, serve someone in need, or invite someone new to your group or service.

7. The miracle of HIS return: He is COMING again.

The same Jesus is coming back.

We need to pray and share hope with every single person, because Jesus is the true hope of the world.

John 14:2-6 NKJV

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 NKJV

Q. How does the promise of Christ’s return impact how you live today?

Practical Application:

What is something you are most looking forward to when Christ returns?  Live with eternity in mind this week. Share the Gospel with someone.

Key Takeaways:

Discuss three takeaways from this message.

Closing Prayer:

Jesus, we praise You for every miracle You have done that has changed eternity for us. Help us to live in awe of Your incarnation, Your sinless life, Your sacrificial death, and Your victorious resurrection. Empower us to walk in our redemption, to be faithful in Your Church, and to await Your return eagerly. Let our lives be a reflection of Your miraculous love. In Your powerful name, amen.
