THREE FOLD MINISTRY | PASTOR GEYSER
We are living in difficult times. There are lots of problems and issues in the world. Lots of people are confused, broken, and committing suicide. These things are taking place because Jesus is coming soon.
The Church needs a greater testimony than it has in this moment. We are the salt and the light.
Matthew 5:13-16 ESV
Every church and leader needs to examine and find out if they are producing consumers or a servants. Jesus was a servant.
Matthew 20:28 ESV
The Church is called to be full of servants. The world is in desperate need of hearing and seeing God in action. We have been given a ministry by the Lord. Some Christians may feel they don’t have a ministry but that is a great misunderstanding. When He called us out of darkness He gave us a ministry.
Q. When have you felt inadequate to serve and why?
We have a Three Fold Ministry:
Our ministry toward God is worship, toward the world is discipleship, and toward the Church is fellowship.
Ten Important Things about our Three Fold Ministry

1. Worship in Spirit and in Truth
Hebrews 2:12 ESV
We tend to think 20 minutes of singing is the only way to worship, but that is not what the Bible teaches. Worship is a lifestyle, ascribing worth to someone or something. We ascribe worth to God.
Q. What are ways you worship (other than singing in church) on a daily basis?
2. Watch, Pray, and Intercede
1 Timothy 2:1-4 ESV
We are in a battle. We see people serving God then suddenly fall away. We think when we get saved everything gets easy. But all Hell breaks loose. We are in Spiritual warfare every day. Our spiritual battle is against our enemies: The Devil who is against the Church, the flesh, and the world.
3. Fight Spiritual Warfare
Ephesians 6:10-18 ESV
We must put on the full armor of God.
Q. What piece(s) of armor are you missing?
4. Study the Scriptures
We need to search and see if these things are so. We need to study God’s word. There are many ways to study God’s word: through scripture, people, Bible school, and church. We must spend time studying scripture so we can know God’s word. We have a store house in our inner most being and when we desperately need it, the Holy Spirt pulls it out of the storehouse.
Q. When has the Holy Spirit brought Gods word to mind when you needed it in that moment?
5. Grow in Christ’s Character
Galatians 5:22-23 ESV .
The world needs to see Jesus through us and believe. It is important that we reveal His character. The fruit of the Spirit is the character of Jesus.
Q. What fruit of the Spirit do you struggle with mostly and why?
6. Function in the Manifestations of the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 12 ESV
The manifestations of the Holy Spirit are tools God gives to believers to help us function in our ministry. He gives us the word of wisdom, which is a fraction of the wisdom of God and that is the Holy Spirit working through us. Wherever we go those manifestations are available to us. He can use anyone, no one person in the Church is a superstar.
Q. What gift had God given you and how are you using it to benefit the Church?
7. Hear the Voice of God
We need to know how to discern His voice. The Bible tells us there are many voices out there. We must know scripture to discern the voice of God. God always aligns what He speaks with His word. He speaks through the preacher, through prophesy, dreams, tongues, and interpretation of tongues.
8. Serve the Saints – God’s Holy People
Who are the saints? We are the saints. It is not just the statues in cathedrals. We are the saints of God. All of God’s people are called to be saints. We need to learn how to serve one another. We are supposed to be involved with the people of God and we are going to spend eternity with each other.

Q. When do you find it difficult to serve others and why?
9. Witness
Acts 1:8 ESV
Our witness must be powerful. We must witness from a changed life. We cannot do ungodly things and expect people to come to Jesus. We cannot afford to be hypocrites. If we are weak, or are struggling we should ask someone to pray.
Q. What changes did people notice when you became a Christian?
10. Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Acts 1:8 ESV
This is the most important thing. When Jesus rose again he appeared to his disciples, He breathed on them and said receive the Sprit. They received the Sprit when Jesus breathed on them [John 20:22-23 ESV]
Those men’s lives were change in that moment. The gospel spread throughout the world. We need the presence of the Holy Spirit. We need anointing on our worship to God. The Holy Spirit makes Jesus real to us and gives us power and authority to be salt and light.
This Three Fold Ministry = A Balanced Christian.
